Georg Friedrich Schenck

Professor, Artistic Director

Georg Friedrich Schenck is Professor of Piano and Chamber Music at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf. He has performed throughout Europe, South America, the United States and Japan and has released recordings with internationally renowned labels. His students have achieved success at major international competitions, including the Chopin, Queen Elisabeth and Van Cliburn competitions. In 2015, he was appointed Honorary Guest Professor at the China Conservatory in Beijing.

Xinning Zhang

Professor of Piano

Xinning Zhang is Professor of Piano, doctoral supervisor and Deputy Director of the Piano Department at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, she has trained numerous prize-winning young pianists and served as a jury member at major piano competitions in China and internationally. She has received numerous honours for her contributions to piano education, including the Steinway Honorary Professorship.

Chun Wang

Professor of Piano

Chun Wang is a pianist, Professor of Piano at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and a Steinway Artist. A graduate of the Central Conservatory and Manhattan School of Music, he has performed extensively in China and the United States, including three appearances at The Juilliard School. Over two decades of teaching, his students have received nearly 100 prizes in national and international competitions.

Yaozong Song

Deputy Chairperson · Pianist

Born in China; began piano studies at the age of four. Studied at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, where he completed the Konzertexamen — the highest German performance qualification. Has performed at the Max Reger Festival, Klavier-Festival Ruhr and at numerous international concert halls. Pianist Evgeni Bozhanov praises his "unique control of the tones and in-depth interpretation of the work". Fazioli Artist.
