WELCOMES YU MEINA AS A NEW MEMBER

Musikforum Rheinland e.V. is delighted to welcome the distinguished pianist, chamber musician and educator Yu Meina as a new member of our association.

Yu Meina is Associate Professor of Piano and a supervisor of master’s students at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Her artistic and educational career has been shaped by extensive experience in both China and Germany. She completed advanced studies at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media and the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf and has performed as a soloist and chamber musician on stages throughout China and Europe.

Alongside her international performing career, Yu Meina has made an important contribution to piano and chamber music education. She co-founded the professional Yu Piano Duo and has been actively involved in promoting Chinese works for two pianos. Many of her students have won prizes at national and international competitions and continued their studies at renowned music institutions.

Her artistic excellence, educational experience and deep understanding of both Chinese and European musical traditions will enrich the international work of Musikforum Rheinland e.V.

Through her membership, we look forward to developing new opportunities for artistic exchange, music education and cultural dialogue between China and Europe.
