Piano Masterclass with Prof. Georg Friedrich Schenck in China – October 2026

On 12–13 October 2026, Prof. Georg Friedrich Schenck will give a piano masterclass in China as part of the “Master Series.”
This masterclass continues our commitment to musical exchange between Germany and China. Participants will have the opportunity to work directly with an experienced concert pianist and educator, gaining fresh inspiration for their musical development.
About Georg Friedrich Schenck
Born in Aachen in 1953, Georg Friedrich Schenck studied with Rudolf Dohm, Bernhard Ebert, André Watts and Claudio Arrau. His international performing career has taken him across Europe, North and South America, and Japan. He has also appeared alongside André Watts in concerts for two pianos.
In 1986, he was appointed professor at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf. Alongside his performing and teaching career, he has given numerous masterclasses in Europe and Asia. Beethoven and Brahms hold a prominent place in his repertoire; in 1987 and 1988, he performed the complete Beethoven piano sonatas in concert.
